Robert Stadler, born in 1966 in Vienna, Austria, is a distinguished designer whose work seamlessly integrates art and design. He began his design education at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, followed by studies at the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle in Paris. In 1992, he co-founded the RADI Designers collective, which operated until 2008, focusing on contemporary industrial and limited-edition design, space planning, and scenography. Since 2001, Stadler has been working independently in Paris, where he continues to explore the intersection of art and design. His diverse portfolio includes furniture, product design, art installations, and multimedia projects, often challenging conventional perceptions of objects and their functions. Stadler's collaborations span esteemed brands such as Hermès, J. & L. Lobmeyr, Thonet, and Vitra, reflecting his versatility and innovation.
